Listening empathetically to his constituents is where it starts for Jagdeep Singh. Then comes the amplification of issues that matter most to the residents of Brampton Centre. Whether in Parliament or with the media, Jagdeep will ensure that our issues are raised effectively and solutions are delivered. Jagdeep is your catalyst for change. Jagdeep arrived in Canada as a permanent resident in 1993.
Through his work both as an architect and real estate broker, Jagdeep has known entrepreneurship his whole life. He also dedicates much of his time to serving the community, spending most of his waking hours in Brampton Centre. He volunteered as the Executive Director of a multi-national NGO affiliated with United Nations that works in the fields of humanitarian aid, human rights, community empowerment and education. As the Spokesperson of the Sikh Motorcycle Club of Ontario he worked within the executive team to spearhead legislative change. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he mobilized a local team of volunteers to connect with the community in Brampton. Among other initiatives, this included coordinating the preparation and delivery of over 25,000 prepared meals and dry rations to vulnerable families.
In addition to fluently speaking English, Punjabi, and Hindi, Jagdeep is currently learning Spanish.
The hard-working residents of Brampton Centre deserve better.
